Why do I work at AWG?

I appreciate having the opportunity to use my creative and web development skills to assist our retailers in marketing their stores. AWG is a reputable company and the marketing department consists of a great team, working together in a fun environment. Plus I love to eat! I especially like trying new products.

I’ve known since I was 5 years old that I wanted a career in the creative industry. Now, after having worked at design studios, a TV station, architectural signage company and the media department of an architecture/engineering firm, I have experience in project management, print and digital design, web site design and development, interactive presentations, animation, logo and identity design, motion graphics, video editing and illustration.

I contribute to the AWG Marketing team primarily by designing and developing websites on a variety of platforms, maintaining those websites, and troubleshooting with retailers and customers when they run into technical issues. Email marketing is another area I work in as I design custom emails and send out email blasts. Periodically, I am asked to edit video for the company, which is used for presentations or for viewing on the internet.

My specialties include: Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, After Effects, Acrobat, Edge Animate, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, HTML, XML, CSS, Actionscript and WordPress.

In my free time, I like to go to the gym, ride roller coasters and spend time watching my daughter dance on her competitive dance team. Although her team fondly named me the “dance team mom”, our lives are nothing like what you would see on the TV show, “Dance Moms”.
