Attributes (new!) – Call out nutritional qualities of foods by adding Attributes to your shelf tags. Attribute indicators highlight nutritional features of your products, showing consumers you care about their health, convenience, gluten allergy concerns & organic lifestyles. There are 12 attributes available: Organic, Gluten Free, Low Saturated Fat, Low Sodium, Good Source of Fiber, Good Source of Calcium, Good Source of Protein, Good Source of Vitamin D, Good Source of Vitamin A, Good Source of Vitamin C, Good Source of Potassium, and 100 Calories or Less. The nutritional attribute database is compiled by NuVal but there is no co-branding; you can make this program your own and customize it however you want. You can print shelf tags yourself in-house, through your preferred shelf tag printer, or through AWG’s signage partner Pangea.

Guiding Stars – Guiding Stars helps identify nutritious foods on the shelf with a simple, easy-to-understand one, two or three star rating system. With a broad array of sign solutions, various points-of-contact via e-newsletters and engaging online content, Guiding Stars makes it easy for you to connect with customers about the nutrition guidance they want. Affordable for the single-store operator as well as for large groups.

NuVal – No matter the starting point, NuVal® will help your customers trade up for health. Should they buy the wheat rolls or the multi-grain bread? Which salty snack is more nutritious for their family? Now with the help of NuVal®, your customers will be able to make quick and easy trade ups between products – in mere seconds with a rating system from 1-100. The higher the number the more nutritious the food. NuVal® Scores are powered by a sophisticated scientific algorithm that takes into account more than 30 nutrient and nutrition factors, in addition to their effects on health outcomes. Use NuVal to differentiate your store and capture those customers looking for more nutritional guidance.
